what is a heart?

Q: what is your heart?
I wonder about what is mine is all the time. My heart seems to change constantly on things I have no say in, and stays solid a a rock on others. My teacher once talked about what Responce-able means. My problem I think is with the things i hve on say in i play out mutupule reactions then change my "heart" and then nothing happens. I've been reading a proverb for each day and this verse fits me i think.
"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12" sick i do get.
what shape?
What does one do when all the other girl’s hearts are made of gold and yours is in a Jell-O mold soft and penetrating? All searches for gold and mine for its treasure but who digs deep for jello "Bill Cosby” no needs not even him. Gold needs no wrapping for it is sought. Jell-O, you boil, put in a nice mold, chill, wrap package, sends it and it returns Stamped "returned to sender, address unknown"(Elvis) how he knew? Burl Ives even wanted "silver and gold". But alas my heart is Jell-O in its mold!
By Me
What happens to a dream deferred?

A Dream Deferred
by Langston Hughes
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

If only! It grows! It sharpens!
